I lost 1.8 pounds from last week, which puts me at a total of 15.4 since January 1. This means I weigh less today than I have since 1-5-07!!
What I've been doing the last few weeks:
I make sure that I have breakfast every day, even when I don't feel like it. It's almost always scrambled eggs and I try to add either a grain (whole wheat bagel) or a fruit, or both.
I have set an alarm on my phone to remind me of morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. I have a hard time getting enough calories because I simply don't think about eating snacks. When I'm not working, I often don't eat or drink anything until after 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
I still only drink water - NO soda, no caffeine. No fried foods. No ground beef. We eat almost all chicken, occasionally ground turkey, and every once in a while fish or salmon.
My pants are getting very loose in the waist and baggy in the legs and butt! I have been wearing my rings (premier jewelry because I couldn't ever find "real" rings in my size) and by the end of the day, they are loose (I swell in the mornings). I think my shoes might even be getting loose! I haven't lost enough to go down a size, and I sure can't see any changes other than the waistband of my pants, but I'm confident that I'm on the right track and that this will be the last time I ever attempt to win this battle!
