Well, it's day 18 of this little quest. It's almost exactly 8 months until Kory and Jordan's wedding, which is my goal date to have lost 100 pounds.
This past week has been good as far as willpower and cravings. I was hungry yesterday, but nothing major. I was out running errands and feeling somewhat emotional, so I really wanted to go through the drive-through and get a cheeseburger (I am an emotional eater), but, I refrained and had a granola bar instead.
I'm day 18 of no soda or caffeine; I've only had water to drink. No fried foods, only chicken or turkey for a meat.
So, I've made HUGE changes in my caloric intake and am getting much better nutrition than before. How did that translate to weight loss this week?
I gained 2 pounds.
Seriously.
The myfitnesspal food log is open, so other than not getting enough calories and needing to add exercise, feel free to look at it and tell me what the heck I need to do, because this is discouraging.
